Smart Metering security fears can be overcome without compromising rollout plans

WINDSOR, UK, 9^th October 2012  – Smart meters have the power to revolutionise the way we consume energy, but consumers and utilities companies must trust this new technology before it can be fully embraced.  Security and data privacy fears remain as a major barrier to trust. Trilliant has launched “Security by Design”, a new whitepaper outlining the process of end-to-end secure smart metering.
