Trilliant Networks Joins Research Triangle Cleantech Cluster Board
Raleigh, N.C. – (September 14, 2017) – Cary-based, smart communications platform company Trilliant Networks has joined the board of directors of the Research Triangle Cleantech Cluster (RTCC), the initiative of business, government, academic and nonprofit leaders working to accelerate the region’s clean tech economy.
RTCC Executive Director Susan Sanford said, “Trilliant Networks is a key addition to North Carolina’s clean tech industry. They are a leader in delivering secure smart grid, smart cities and internet of things (IoT) solutions to communities across the globe. We are thrilled Trilliant has stepped forward to help shape and steer the growth of the region’s clean tech cluster, and we are sharing this news at RTCC’s annual meeting today.”

White and Trilliant Networks have a long history with North Carolina that includes helping to bring GE Nuclear to Wilmington and initiating conversations to help launch the FREEDM Systems Center. Additionally, White was the GE Executive for North Carolina State for five years, as well as serving on advisory boards within the University of North Carolina system.
The news comes as Trilliant celebrated its headquarters grand opening September 7 in a ceremony with Governor Roy Cooper and regional leaders.
