Chairman and Chief Executive Officer
Andy joined Trilliant in 2009, bringing more than 30 years of leadership and experience in the utility, energy, networks and communications industries. Prior to Trilliant, Andy served as a General Electric (GE) corporate officer and as President and CEO of several GE businesses.
During his tenure, Andy has led businesses for major infrastructure and communications projects in Congo, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Dominican Republic and Algeria. He has served on two university advisory committees and ten boards. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Bath University, specializing in Power Electronics.
Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operations Officer
Chris Mack joined Trilliant in 2021 as the Company’s Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer. With nearly 30 years in technology and service-based companies, Chris brings a wealth of technical, operating and strategic experience to Trilliant. He has led both public and venture-backed companies holding several senior executive roles for high volume, technology platform companies focused on business communications, healthcare technologies, and human capital management including multiple successful exits.
Prior to joining Trilliant, Chris was chief financial officer and chief administrative officer of venture-backed MBO Partners, Inc., a leading workforce solutions platform company. The MBO platform provides services to many Fortune 500 companies and more than 50,000 end-user independent professionals. Prior to MBO, Chris served as president, chief operating officer, and chief financial officer for Apptix, a business communication, infrastructure, and managed services company. Apptix provided technology solutions to over 500,000 end users of Fortune 500 companies and SMB’s. Apptix was previously listed on the Oslo (Norway) Stock Exchange.
Over his career, Chris has been nominated for CFO of the Year awards by several organizations and publications, including the Washington Business Journal and Northern Virginia Technology Council. He is a CPA, a Chartered Global Management Accountant, and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He has a BS in Accounting from Shepherd University.
Chief Solutions Officer
Dan Lambert is Trilliant’s Chief Solutions Officer, responsible for Innovation, Portfolio and Product Management, Engineering, and Data Services & Analytics. Dedicated to operational excellence by delivering business solutions and information services in demanding environments, Dan brings more than twenty-five years of hands-on experience in the Military & Defense, Telecom, Utilities, and B2B2C industries. Prior to joining Trilliant, Dan worked in executive leadership positions at ACN Europe B.V. and British Telecom, most recently serving as COO for Smart DCC in the United Kingdom.
Dan received his Bachelor of Science from the U.S. Air Force Academy and holds a Global Strategic Management Certification from Harvard Business School.
Managing Director, Americas
As the Managing Director for Americas, Nick is responsible for expanding the industry and leadership in the Americas region. With over 9 years of experience at Trilliant holding positions in the EMEA region, Nick brings more than 20 years’ experience with technology and high growth businesses worldwide including fixed and wireless communications in Europe, North America, and South America.
Nick Received a Masters of Engineering degree from Sheffield University and has studied at the Cranfield School of Management.
Managing Director, Canada
Steven leads Trilliant’s Canadian operations and brings 20 years of successful business experience leading both early-stage and established Energy Management, Utility Services, and Smart Metering/Grid businesses. Steven has significant global Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Operations experience and maintains responsibility for our Toronto based Meter Lab, and our S-A-01:2017 Accreditation and associated Quality Management System through Measurement Canada.
Prior to joining Trilliant, Steven led Energy and Information systems businesses through early-stage AMI deployments in Ontario, and spear-headed the development and operation of Ontario’s first production AMI Smart Metering System built upon a managed services platform. Steven is a computer engineering technologist with education from Seneca College and the University of Toronto.
Managing Director, EMEA
As Managing Director for Europe, Middle East & Africa, Tom Tipple is responsible for developing and implementing Trilliant’s strategic development across the EMEA region. Tom has over 25 years’ experience in the wireless communications and cleantech energy markets, with both start-up companies and large corporations. Before joining Trilliant, Tom was with cleantech companies Imergy Power Systems and Prudent Energy, pioneering the development of flow battery energy storage systems into international markets. Prior to Prudent Energy, Tom held a number of senior management positions in the communications industry with companies including Millicom, Inmarsat and AlanDick.
Tom received an MBA from Texas A&M University, and a BSc (Eng) from Queen Mary College, University of London.
Senior Vice President, Global Solutions & Commercial Operations
As Senior Vice President, Global Solutions & Commercial Operations, Mike is responsible for Trilliant’s Strategic Engagements, Applications & Integration Engineering, and Commercial Operations. Mike joined Trilliant in 2006 bringing more than 30 years of RF communications network expertise with over 20 years of experience in smart grid network and software solutions. He began focusing on the Smart Grid market in the late 90’s with industry pioneer, CellNet Data Systems, and later joined Schlumberger following its acquisition of CellNet, where he managed the business development process from initial business case development through contract negotiations.
Mike earned an MBA with Distinction from Bentley University in Waltham, MA and a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Northeastern University in Boston, MA.
Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary
Courtney joined Trilliant in 2017, bringing with him extensive experience in corporate transactions as well as commercial, intellectual property, and corporate governance. Prior to joining Trilliant, Courtney was a senior lawyer at Credit Suisse, where he advised on corporate governance, U.S. bank regulatory matters, and leverage lending transactions, and served as a Co-Chair of the General Counsel Diversity Committee. Before relocating to the Research Triangle, Courtney spent a decade practicing law in New York City, initially at the law firm of Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP and later at Richards Kibbe & Orbe LLP. His practice at these firms included representation of investment banks, private equity funds, hedge funds, and other institutions in connection with various corporate transactions.
Courtney received his J.D. from New York University School of Law, and his undergraduate degree in English Literature with honors from Duke University. Courtney is an active speaker on legal panels throughout the Triangle and guest lectures at the University of North Carolina School of Law.
Senior Vice President, Human Resources
Tricie is a seasoned human resource professional with more than 15 years of extensive HR expertise gained through experiences in contract manufacturing, non-profit and technical recruitment industries. Her knowledge base of employee relations, performance management, policy development, benefits, compensation, staffing/recruiting, training, acquisition integration, and compliance are critical to Trilliant’s demands.
Global Delivery Executive
Chris joined Trilliant in 2010 bringing more than 25 years of leadership and dynamic experience in the energy industry delivering major programs of change. His extensive knowledge of the industry and technology has enabled him to excel in implementing and delivering Trilliant solutions around the world.
He is an Electrical Engineer with a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Manchester University in the United Kingdom. In addition, he is a Certified Project Management Professional with the Association of Project Managers, a PRINCE 2 Project Management practitioner, a Member of the Institute of Engineering and Technology (MIET) and an Incorporated Engineer with the Engineering Council (IEng) of Great Britain.
